Surprisingly, have never owned, in fact, have resisted owning, a Fender Stratocaster, though have borrowed and used quite a few, notably Rick Lisak's '71 Strat (Willies' second album & many gigs) and Dean Middleton's '90s Strat w/SRV pickguard (3 3-way switches giving 27 possible combinations) (Clem Comstock, Turn To Stone, Jimi Hendrix impersonation at Ridge Day Parade, July 2007) Amps- '70s Fender Deluxe Reverb lovingly put back to Blackface specs by Bob Rowlette Vox AC15 Reissue Marshall JTM45 clone hand-built by Mike Gabbard Marshall valve-state thingy --- broken but at one time used quite a bit in the studio Roland JC120 Jazz Chorus amp Peavey Classic 50-watt with cool, obnoxious built-in phase shifter Pedals- MXR Dyna-Comp (2-late '70s) Boss SD-1 Super Overdrive Bixonic Expandora MXR Distortion+ Marshall Guvnor II Boss DD-20 Digital Delay Boss CE-1 Chorus Ensemble Keeley 4-knob Compressor (have never really used, MXRs have more mojo) Studio- Apple G5 2.3 gHz Dual Power Core (PPC) Apple MacBook Pro 2.6 gHz MOTU Digital Performer also Logic, Nuendo, work on ProTools at other studios but don't own a copy myself---sort of have a beef with Digi API 3124 mic-pre (4) Empirical Labs Distressor compressors (2) Empirical Labs Fatso Manley Vari-mu compressor/limiter Apogee Rosetta A/D converters yadda, yadda, yadda.... |
